The date itself falls on a Saturday, a day we would normally have as a Queen of Peace Day of Prayer. We know that many would like to be in Medjugorje for the occasion but this is not always possible. However, although we cannot physically be there, we can join the parish of Medjugorje in the programme of prayer here in our own part of the world. With this in mind, we are holding a Queen of Peace Prayer Festival from Thursday 23 June until Sunday 26 June (3 nights) here in Pantasaph. The programme will follow that of the programme in Medjugroje for the 29th anniversary, at the same time. So, whatever is going on there, will be happening here. There are talks, evening adoration, silent adoration will be available throughout each afternoon, the veneration of the cross, rosary walking up our own “Podboro”, the way of the cross up our own Kricevac, confessions and holy mass. We have a wonderful music ministry joining us and there will be adoration available throughout Saturday night until dawn on Sunday.
